Title 20 › Chapter CHAPTER 70— - STRENGTHENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER IV— - 21ST CENTURY SCHOOLS › Part Part A— - Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants › Subpart subpart 1— - student support and academic enrichment grants › § 7115
The State must use its reserved funds to give each local school district that has an application approved by the State education agency an amount based on what that district got under subpart 2 of part A of subchapter I in the previous fiscal year compared with all districts in the State. No district may get less than $10,000 unless the State’s reserved money is too small, in which case all amounts are cut proportionally. Districts may partner with nearby districts and pool their funds to run the local activities together. A district may keep up to 2 percent of the money it receives to pay direct administrative costs for carrying out these activities.
