Title 31 › Subtitle SUBTITLE V— - GENERAL ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATION › Chapter CHAPTER 62— - CONSOLIDATED FEDERAL FUNDS REPORT › § 6203
The Director must make both printed and machine-readable versions of each report required by this chapter. The Director will sell copies to the public at a price set under subsection (b). The Director must send one free printed copy to every Federal regional depository library and one free printed copy to each of these congressional committees: the House Committees on Government Operations, the Budget, and Appropriations, and the Senate Committees on Governmental Affairs, the Budget, and Appropriations. After each calendar year, the Director must also send one free machine-readable record of the report required by section 6202 to the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration and the House Committee on House Oversight. The Director may waive all or part of the public fee. When setting prices, the Director must aim to recover as much as practical of the extra costs of making and distributing the reports and machine-readable records. The Director must not include the costs of the activities in sections 6102a and 6205 but must consider the costs to compile, prepare, and distribute the reports and the expected number of copies that will be bought.
