Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 35— - PROGRAMS FOR OLDER AMERICANS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER X— - GRANTS FOR NATIVE AMERICANS › Part Part A— - Indian Program › § 3057c
A tribal organization can get help under this program only if it represents at least 50 people who are 60 years old or older and can show it can provide supportive services, including food and meal services. An Indian tribe represented by such an organization may get only one grant under this program each fiscal year. That does not stop the tribe from getting a different federal grant. The terms "Indian tribe" and "tribal organization" mean the same as their definitions in federal law.
