§8905 Authorization of appropriations

Summary

Gives $5,000,000 to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for fiscal year 1981 to set up the Task Force and prepare the comprehensive plan under section 8903. That money can be used until it is all spent. For the nine fiscal years after the year the final plan is submitted under section 8903(c)(3), funding to carry out the ten-year program (section 8902(a)) and to implement the plan (sections 8903 and 8904) will be authorized each year in future authorization laws. The total authorized over those nine years cannot exceed $45,000,000 unless a later authorization law explicitly allows more by referring to this paragraph.
