Sharing the information named in section 30304(b)(1)(A) or (C) that you got under section 30305 is a crime if the disclosure is not allowed and you knew it was not allowed. This does not apply to people described in section 30305(b)(6). Asking for that information or getting it by lying or other false pretenses is also a crime. A person convicted can be fined under Title 18, imprisoned for not more than one year, or both.
