Summary

The Office of Personnel Management must give everyone who can enroll in a federal health plan the information they need to choose among the plan types listed in sections 8903 and 8903a. The information must be in a format OPM approves after talking with the plan carrier. Every person who enrolls must get a written document that explains or summarizes three things: the services and benefits for them and any eligible family members (including maximum amounts, limits, and what is not covered); how to get those benefits; and the main plan rules that affect them.
