DD Form 2970: One‑time vendor application

If you run a food business and want to sell food on a U.S. military installation, you must submit DD Form 2970 one time to request permission. The form takes about 15 minutes on average; the DoD reports 91 annual responses and 23 annual burden hours. The form asks for the types of food, daily volume, supporting equipment, and sanitary controls so the installation can evaluate food safety.
