Data Collection to Support FAP

The Department of Defense will collect incident and case-management information about problematic sexual behavior between children and youth on military installations to determine eligibility for Family Advocacy Program (FAP) services and start case records. This collection is required by the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019, Section 1089, and is intended to support safety plans, evidence-informed interventions, and referrals to specialized care.
