Annual FERC filing fee update

For review of a Department of Energy denial of adjustment, the fee tiers are: $100 for $0–$9,999 in controversy, $600 for $10,000–$29,999, and $31,310 for $30,000 or more, effective March 3, 2025.
Written legal interpretation fee increased
The fee for written legal interpretations by the Office of General Counsel is set at $11,730 effective March 3, 2025 (replacing the prior $10,830).
NGPA petition for rate approval fee raised
The fee for petitions for rate approval under the Natural Gas Policy Act (18 CFR 284.123(b)(2); 381.403) is set at $20,360 (replacing $18,790) effective March 3, 2025.
Certification fees for small power and cogenerators
Certification fees for qualifying status are set at $35,170 for small power production facilities and $39,810 for cogeneration facilities, effective March 3, 2025.
