Landowner Easements and Eminent Domain Risk

FERC is initiating consultation under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act with the State Historic Preservation Office(s), Indian tribes, and other parties to solicit views on potential effects to historic properties and will document findings in the environmental document.
Construction Confined to Compressor Station Sites
All proposed project activities would take place inside the existing compressor station site boundaries (CS 7.5 and CS 8) and no project-related activities will take place outside the fenced areas of those compressor stations in St. Landry and East Baton Rouge Parishes, Louisiana.
Public Comment Window and Assistance
The Commission requests written comments on the project scope by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on March 1, 2025, and staff will consider timely comments when preparing an Environmental Assessment or an Environmental Impact Statement.
