Flood zones and elevation changes
If you live in or own property in a listed community, Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway may have been added or changed on the official Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports because of new scientific or technical data. Check the updated FIRMs and FIS reports for your community to see how your property is now mapped.
Use updated community number for policies
For communities listed in this notice, the currently effective community number shown in the table must be used for all new flood insurance policies and renewals. Agents, insurers, and property owners should use the updated community number when buying or renewing flood insurance.
Revisions effective upon LOMR issuance
The revisions to FIRMs and, where applicable, portions of the FIS report are implemented through issuance of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR). The map and study revisions take effect as soon as the LOMR is issued.
