Flood maps change property flood designations
Some communities have additions or modifications to Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries, zone designations, or the regulatory floodway on their Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). FEMA revised FIRMs (and, where applicable, portions of Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports) through Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs) because of new scientific or technical data.
New community number must be used for policies
