Possible Ban on Imported Liquid Coolers

The ALJ issued an Initial Determination on violation and a Recommended Determination on remedy and bonding on March 21, 2025, and the recommended limited exclusion would target articles imported, sold for importation, and/or sold after importation by the named respondents.
Potential Cease-and-Desist Order for SilverStone
The Recommended Determination includes a proposed cease and desist order directed specifically to SilverStone Technology Inc. if the Commission finds a violation. A cease and desist order would bar SilverStone Technology Inc. from engaging in the infringing importation or post-importation activities described in the investigation.
Public Comment Opportunity and Deadline
The Commission is asking the public and interested government agencies to file written submissions of no more than five (5) pages about the public interest by close of business on April 23, 2025. Submissions should address how the recommended remedial orders would affect public health and welfare, competitive conditions, U.S. production of like articles, and U.S. consumers.
