Grants for Rehab Training (FY2025+)
If you work for a State vocational rehabilitation (VR) agency, a public or non‑profit rehabilitation organization, or are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's rehabilitation program, the Department of Education may run grant competitions under the Innovative Rehabilitation Training program (Assistance Listing 84.263G) beginning in fiscal year 2025 and in later years. These competitions will support training for VR personnel and paraprofessionals.
Better VR Services for People with Disabilities
The Department is prioritizing development of innovative training on vocational rehabilitation counseling, engagement, and service delivery so rehab workers provide higher‑quality VR and supported employment services that lead to better employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. This priority is intended to be used in competitions beginning in fiscal year 2025 and later.
