Multiple Negotiated Rate Filings Effective July 2025
Multiple natural gas pipeline operators (including Kern River, Alliance Pipeline, Columbia Gas Transmission, El Paso Natural Gas, NEXUS, Texas Eastern, and others) filed Section 4(d) negotiated-rate filings proposing negotiated rates to be effective on July 1, 2025 (and one filing with an effective date of August 1, 2025). Comment deadlines for many of these rate filings are set for 5:00 p.m. Eastern on July 14, 2025.
Petitions to Waive Capacity-Release Rules
Several pipeline companies (for example, Chesapeake Utilities and EQT Energy with filings on June 25 and June 27, 2025) filed petitions seeking limited or temporary waivers of Capacity Release Regulations. Comment deadlines for these waiver petitions are set for 5:00 p.m. Eastern on July 7, 2025 and July 9, 2025.
