New mandatory bubble-roll supply contract
Starting February 1, 2026, NSN 8100-12-201-N (Package Filler, Cushioning, Bubble, Roll, Perforated, 12'' x 175') is added to the Procurement List and is mandatory for the Total Government Requirement. The authorized source of supply is Alphapointe, Kansas City, MO, meaning that Federal entities must purchase this product from that nonprofit agency.
New DoD mandatory line-item: mini OTF knife
Effective February 1, 2026, NSN 1095-01-598-4343 (Combat Knife, Mini, Out the Front (OTF)) is added to the Procurement List as mandatory for the Department of Defense. DePaul Industries, Portland, OR is the authorized source of supply for that DoD requirement.
New mandatory service contract at Fort Benning
Beginning February 1, 2026, a service is added as mandatory for the U.S. Army, Directorate of Training Sustainment, Fort Benning, GA; the authorized source of supply is Brevard Achievement Center, Inc., Rockledge, FL. The Committee determined the nonprofit is the authorized source and the contracting activity is the Department of Defense, W6QM MICC-FT MOORE.
DoD helmet-cover contracts removed from list
Effective February 1, 2026, multiple helmet cover NSNs used by the Department of Defense (a list of NSNs appears in the notice) are deleted from the Procurement List. Several nonprofit authorized suppliers (e.g., Alabama Industries for the Blind, Lions Services, Industries of the Blind, Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind, and others listed) are no longer the mandatory sources for those helmet covers.
Multiple nonprofit service contracts removed
Also effective February 1, 2026, the notice deletes several services from the Procurement List including services for GSA PBS Region 10 Gus Solomon Courthouse (Portland, OR, previously Relay Resources), grounds maintenance/guard/alarm services at Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis Reserve Centers, janitorial/custodial at the OPM Federal Executive Institute (Charlottesville, VA), and document management for USDA Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region. Those designated nonprofit suppliers are no longer mandatory sources for those services.
No added reporting burden; small entities may be authorized
The notice certifies that the action will not result in additional reporting, recordkeeping, or other compliance requirements for small entities and that the action may result in authorizing small entities to furnish the added products or services to the Government. This certification appears for both the additions and deletions noted in the notice.
