Port Everglades Pressure Reduction for Safety
On February 3, 2026, Florida Gas Transmission Company (FGT) asked to reduce the permanent maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of its Port Everglades delivery facilities in Broward County, Florida to maintain compliance with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration regulations. FGT states this change will not reduce system capacity or result in abandonment of service to its customers.
