Swine plants must test and keep records
If you operate a swine slaughter establishment under the New Swine Slaughter Inspection System (NSIS), you must perform microbial testing and keep records, including the total number of animals and carcasses sorted and removed each day and the reasons for removal. You may record this data on FSIS Form 6200-3 or submit the same information electronically in an FSIS-approved format. The collection applies to 84 respondents and the agency estimates a total of 4,347 burden hours.
