Exclusive Patent License to University

The exclusive license is stated to cover “all fields,” which gives the university sole rights to the patented technology unless a successful objection is filed.
15-Day Objection Window for Competitors
Anyone who objects to the proposed exclusive license must file a written objection within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication. A competing patent license application that complies with 37 CFR 404.8 and is received within that 15-day period will be treated as an objection and may be considered as an alternative to the proposed license.
