Air Force Emergency Alert System

If you are an assigned military member, a family member, or a contractor, the Air Force will use a cloud-based Emergency Mass Notification System (EMNS) to send alerts to about 1,000,000 people so you can take protective action. The EMNS is intended to increase situational awareness regardless of location and to address gaps in the notification process.

One-Minute Information Response Burden

About 1,000,000 people may be asked to provide information one time for the EMNS information collection, and the average response takes 1 minute. The collection totals 16,667 annual burden hours and responding is voluntary.
