SF-330 Approval Extended Proposal

The agencies ask OMB to extend approval to keep using the Architect-Engineer Qualifications form (SF-330) for three additional years beyond the current expiration date of January 31, 2027. The agencies are seeking public comments by July 21, 2026.

SF-330 Required for Contracts Over SAT

Under FAR 36.702(b), architect-engineer firms must provide SF-330 information when a contract amount is expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). Part I may also be used when the contract amount is at or below the SAT if the contracting officer decides it is appropriate.

Detailed SF-330 Content and Annual Burden

The SF-330 asks for detailed materials such as an organizational chart, for each key person a description of their experience in five relevant projects, descriptions of example projects, and a matrix showing who worked together. Agencies encourage firms to update Part II annually; the notice reports 402 respondents, 1,608 annual responses, and 46,632 total annual burden hours.
