Grants to Improve College Support for Deaf Students

You, if you are a postsecondary student who is deaf or hard of hearing, could see improved supports because the Department of Education will fund a National Technical Assistance Center with awards up to $4,000,000 for a 12-month budget period. Organizations can apply by July 30, 2026; within each 12-month period no more than $1,300,000 may be budgeted under the TA&D program, $1,700,000 under the Personnel Development program, and $1,000,000 under the Educational Technology, Media, and Materials program.
