Annual license issued to operator

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued an annual license to Ampersand Kayuta Lake Hydro, LLC for the Kayuta Lake Hydroelectric Project effective June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. The annual license remains in effect until a new license is issued or the project is otherwise disposed of under the Federal Power Act.

Automatic renewal if new license delayed

If a new license or other disposition is not issued on or before May 31, 2027, the annual license will be automatically renewed under 18 CFR 16.18(c) without further order or notice by the Commission. The renewal continues until the Commission issues a new license or orders otherwise.

Alternate operator authorization (if not under section 15)

If the project is not subject to section 15 of the Federal Power Act, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company is authorized to continue operation of the Kayuta Lake Hydroelectric Project under the terms and conditions of the prior license until a subsequent license or other disposition is issued.
