No-fault compensation for childhood vaccine injuries
You can seek no-fault compensation if you or a child were injured by specified childhood vaccines by filing a petition in the United States Court of Federal Claims under 42 U.S.C. 300aa-10 et seq. The Court appoints special masters who take evidence and decide eligibility and the amount of compensation. Compensation can be awarded for conditions listed in the Vaccine Injury Table at 42 CFR 100.3 and for non-Table conditions if you show the vaccine caused the injury.
Petitions published in Federal Register within 30 days
HRSA publishes notice of petitions received under the Program within 30 days after the Secretary receives service. The notice lists the petitioner name, city and state, and Court of Federal Claims docket number for petitions received June 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026, and reflects any Court redactions of names or case numbers.
Public may submit written information to special masters
Interested persons may submit written information to the special master about whether an illness was due to factors unrelated to vaccination or about claims involving non-Table conditions or timing. File an original and three copies with the Clerk of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims at 717 Madison Place NW, Washington, DC 20005 and send a copy to HRSA at Director, Division of Injury Compensation Programs, 5600 Fishers Lane, 8W-25A, Rockville, Maryland 20857; include the Court caption and docket number on the submission.
