On July 18, 2026, all boats and people are prohibited from entering the Cuyahoga River safety zone between 41°29'54.1" N, 81°42'17" W and 41°27'53.7" N, 81°40'32.6" W unless the Captain of the Port gives permission. The zone is enforced from 8:15 a.m. through 11:15 p.m. on that date to protect event participants, other boaters, and transiting vessels.

If you need to enter the safety zone on July 18, 2026, you must get authorization from the Captain of the Port or their representative. To request permission, contact them on VHF‑FM channel 16 or by telephone at (216) 701-5989.
