Pipeline pressure increase proposal
Southern Star asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to raise the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) on a 13,100-foot segment of its 8-inch Line EU in Leavenworth County, Kansas from 150 psig to 333 psig. The company said this MAOP uprate will support planned installation of facilities and that no increased capacity is expected from the uprate.

You can file a protest, motion to intervene, or comment about this project at no cost, and the deadline for those filings is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 25, 2026. Filings may be submitted electronically via FERC eFiling or by mail using docket number CP26-554-000.
Project may be automatically authorized after deadlines
If no protest is filed by the deadline or if a filed protest is withdrawn within 30 days after the allowed protest time, the proposed activity will be deemed authorized effective the day after the time allowed for protest. If a protest is filed and not withdrawn within 30 days after the allowed time, the Commission will consider the request further.
