DoD contractor info collection burden

USCENTCOM proposes collecting contractor and vendor information under the Joint Contingency and Expeditionary Services (JCXS), OMB Control Number 0704-0589. The notice estimates 5,500 respondents, 5,500 annual responses, an average burden of 30 minutes per response, and 2,750 annual burden hours; comments are requested by October 19, 2026.

Standardized arming authorization (CAAMS)

The Civilian Arming Authorization Management System (CAAMS) will provide a standardized and automated process for submission, review, approval, and compliance management of contractor arming. This change is presented as an automated, standardized workflow within JCXS.

Vendor evaluation for installation access (JCCS)

The Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) will evaluate vendors for possible approval or acceptance to do business with and have access to U.S. military installations around the world. Information collected through JCXS will be used for those evaluations.
