TUVAM Seeks NRTL Scope Expansion

TUV SUD America, Inc. (TUVAM) applied to expand its Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognition to add five test standards: UL 1564; UL 1004-6; UL 1004-8; UL 61010-2-011; and UL 61010-2-012. OSHA preliminarily found that TUVAM can meet the requirements in 29 CFR 1910.7 to add these five standards to its scope of recognition and is seeking public comment by September 8, 2026.

OSHA proposes adding four test standards to the NRTL Program's List of Appropriate Test Standards: UL 1004-6; UL 1004-8; UL 61010-2-011; and UL 61010-2-012. OSHA preliminarily determines these four standards are appropriate test standards and seeks public comment on that determination by September 8, 2026.
