The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden. The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.

MEP Client Survey: Annual 12‑Minute Ask
If you are a small or medium-sized manufacturer (an MEP client), you may be asked to take an online survey once per year about your sales, costs, investments, employment, and competitiveness challenges. The survey is voluntary, confidential, is estimated to take 12 minutes per response, covers about 14,500 respondents annually (2,900 total burden hours), and has no monetary cost to the public.
