FEMA adjusts flood maps for communities with fresh data

Summary
This notice lists communities where the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway (hereinafter referred to as flood hazard determinations), as shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), and where applicable, in the supporting Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports, prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for each community, is appropriate because of new scientific or technical data. The FIRM, and where applicable, portions of the FIS report, have been revised to reflect these flood hazard determinations through issuance of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), in accordance with Federal Regulations. The current effective community number is shown in the table below and must be used for all new policies and renewals.

FEMA revises local flood maps
FEMA revised flood hazard determinations (Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, SFHA boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway) for the communities listed in the table. The Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) revisions were made through Letters of Map Revision and the current effective community number must be used for all new flood insurance policies and renewals as of the dates shown in the table.
You have 90 days to appeal map changes
From the second publication of local newspaper notice, any person has 90 days to ask the community to request that FEMA reconsider the flood hazard determinations. The determinations may change during that 90-day period.
Revised maps are available online and locally
You can inspect the revised flood hazard information online at the FEMA Map Service Center (https://msc.fema.gov) and at each community's local map repository address listed in the table. The notice lists the online portal and local addresses where the FIRM and, where applicable, portions of the FIS report are available for comparison.

2026-18419, Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program; Fire Prevention and Safety Grants
Pursuant to the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974, as amended, the Administrator of FEMA is publishing this notice describing the fiscal year (FY) 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) grant programs application processes, deadlines and award selection criteria. This notice explains the differences, if any, between these guidelines and those recommended by representatives of the national fire service leadership during the annual meeting of the Criteria Development Panel (CDP), which was held September 9, 2025. The application period for the FY 2025 AFG Program was May 19, 2026, to June 22, 2026, and the FY 2025 FP&S Program was May 19, 2026, to June 22, 2026. The application periods were announced on the FEMA Fire Grant website at https://www.fema.gov/grants/ preparedness/firefighters, as well as at https://www.grants.gov.
