The Coast Guard will enforce the San Diego TriRock Triathlon special local regulation on the waters of San Diego Bay, California on September 12, 2026. San Diego Bay boating access limited

On September 12, 2026, the Coast Guard will close a regulated area in San Diego Bay (including Spanish Landing) from 6:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. During that time, persons and vessels are prohibited from anchoring, blocking, loitering, or impeding in the area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or a designated representative.

Captain may grant early access

If the Captain of the Port or a designated representative decides the regulated area does not need enforcement for the full period on September 12, 2026, they may broadcast a Safety Marine Information Broadcast or use other communications to give general permission to enter the area.
