If you are an employer seeking to bring a CNMI-only CW-1 worker to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), you must use Form I-129CW to petition USCIS for the worker’s temporary entry, extension of stay, or change of status. The collection is identified as OMB Control Number 1615-0111 and the agency lists businesses or other for-profit entities as the primary affected public.
Semiannual CW-1 Employer Reporting and DOL Sharing
If you employ CW-1 workers in the CNMI, you must submit Form I-129CWR as a semiannual report to verify continuing employment and payment; USCIS estimates 5,975 annual respondents for Form I-129CWR with an average burden of 2.5 hours per response.
