Missouri SNAP excludes candy and drinks

If you use SNAP benefits in Missouri, the State's demonstration will exclude "Candy, prepared desserts, and certain unhealthy beverages" from the SNAP definition of food for purchase starting February 15, 2027. The State requested the project on or about October 8, 2025, FNA approved the initial request on December 10, 2025, and written comments are due October 15, 2026.
