Idaho SNAP: Soda and Candy Excluded
If you receive SNAP benefits in Idaho, you will not be able to use them to buy "soda" and "candy" as part of a State demonstration project. The State requested the project on May 16, 2025, the Food and Nutrition Administration approved the request on June 10, 2025, and the State asked to set the implementation date to February 15, 2026.
