Utah gets federal land for road
The law transfers about 200.18 acres of federal land in Utah to the State within 90 days, subject to valid existing rights. Utah must pay fair market value, set using federal appraisal standards. A final map controls the exact boundaries, is on file at Bureau of Land Management offices, and minor errors can be corrected by agreement. Prior executive order limits do not apply to this land. If Utah sells it or uses it for non-transportation or non-defense, the land can revert to the United States after notice, a chance to fix issues, and public comment.
