Sponsored By: Senator Grassley, Chuck [R-IA]

Became Law

Summary

Fixes a technical numbering error in the Controlled Substances Act's definitions. This law realigns Section 102 by redesignating paragraph (58) as (59), redesignating the second paragraph labeled (57) as (58), and moving paragraphs (57)–(59) left two ems to correct internal cross-references. The change does not alter the substance of any definitional text, including the definition of "serious drug felony", and it does not change offenses, penalties, enforcement, or program authorities.
