Stops sale of TF-X engines to Turkey

This bill would prohibit the proposed foreign military sale to Turkey described in Transmittal No. 24-051. That transmittal was submitted to Congress on June 24, 2026 under section 36(c) of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776(c)). The prohibition would cover defense articles, defense services, and technical data to support integration, installation, external modification, qualification, certification, assembly, and testing of the F110-GE-129E/F engines for the TF-X aircraft. If enacted, U.S. defense companies and subcontractors could not proceed with those sales, and the Government of Turkey would not receive the listed items; the disapproval blocks the specific transmittal absent further congressional or executive action.
