Summary
Formally designate the Great Lakes Commission as the Regional Great Lakes Partnership. The bill would add the Commission to the list of partnerships in the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023. It would also rewrite references so the statute names "the Great Lakes" and points to the partnership designated under paragraph (3)(E). The change anchors the regional partnership in the existing Great Lakes Commission and removes ambiguity about which body represents the region.
