Give three named executive cyber directives the force of law. This bill would codify into statute Executive Order 14390 (91 Fed. Reg. 12051) on combating cybercrime, fraud, and predatory schemes, Section 6 of Executive Order 14159 (90 Fed. Reg. 8443) on protecting the American people against invasion, and a National Security Presidential Memorandum issued August 12, 2026, expanding capabilities to combat transnational cyber-enabled crime, define them as "covered orders or memoranda", and treat them as having the force and effect of law while not creating new funding, appropriations, tax changes, or program authorizations.

Give three cyber directives legal force

If enacted, this bill would say three named executive directives have the force and effect of law. They are: Executive Order 14390 (91 Fed. Reg. 12051; March 6, 2026) about combating cybercrime, fraud, and predatory schemes; Section 6 of Executive Order 14159 (90 Fed. Reg. 8443; January 20, 2025) about protecting the American people against invasion; and a National Security Presidential Memorandum dated August 12, 2026 about expanding capabilities to fight transnational cyber-enabled crime. The bill itself would not add funding or change program authorizations. Any effects on households would depend on how those named directives are carried out under this new legal status.
