Use tax-advantaged accounts for parents

If enacted, you would be able to use HSAs, Archer MSAs, employer FSAs, or HRAs to pay medical costs for a parent or your spouse's parent. The change would apply to amounts paid or expenses incurred after December 31, 2024. Amounts used this way would not be included in your gross income solely because they pay a parent's medical care. The bill would not change the dollar limits on these accounts.
