End federal electric vehicle charger funding
This bill would end federal programs that fund electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. It would repeal the competitive charging and fueling grants and remove the related grant authority in federal law. It would also terminate the NEVI formula program on the date of enactment and take back any unobligated funds. States, local governments, and other applicants would lose these funding paths, which could slow new chargers and reduce options for drivers.
