Summary
Targeted FCC review of satellite rules to support precision agriculture. The bill would require the Federal Communications Commission to review rules for fixed satellite service, mobile satellite service, and earth exploration satellite service to identify changes the agency can make under its existing authority to promote precision agriculture. If the review finds actionable changes, the FCC must develop recommendations on implementation and report the results to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee within 15 months.
