No VA copays for preventive care
This bill would stop VA from charging copays for preventive care, including visits, hospital care, and preventive medicines. It would count more services as preventive. That includes services rated A or B by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and CDC-recommended vaccines for you. For women, it includes HRSA preventive services as of December 30, 2022 and FDA-approved contraceptives with related care. This would only apply if you get care through the VA, and savings would depend on what you use.
