New income test for Puerto Rico housing
If enacted, this bill would change how "extremely low-income" is set for HUD housing in Puerto Rico. Public housing agencies and projects in Puerto Rico would use the same federal poverty guidelines as the 48 States and DC. This could change who qualifies or gets priority for public housing or HUD-assisted rentals in Puerto Rico. It would not create new funding or benefits by itself.
