Fuel cell tax credit extended through 2033
If enacted, this would extend the Section 48 tax credit for qualified fuel cell property to January 1, 2033. You would be able to claim the credit for projects whose construction begins after December 31, 2024. The bill does not change the credit’s rates or other rules. Homeowners, businesses, and investors planning eligible fuel cell projects in that window could lower their tax bills.
