Limit International Criminal Court at U.N. sites
If enacted, this would direct the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations to start talks within 30 days after the 80th U.N. General Assembly opens. The goal would be a new agreement that stops the U.N. from letting the International Criminal Court use U.N. facilities in the United States. The bill would also define “International Criminal Court” and “Rome Statute” using existing U.S. law, and define the “United Nations Headquarters Agreement” as the 1947 pact. This would start negotiations only; it would not itself change U.S. law, create penalties, or spend money.
