Renames the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act as the Jean E. Fairfax National School Lunch Act. This bill would give the law a new short title and includes findings that highlight Jean E. Fairfax’s contributions to the National School Lunch Program and contrast the original namesake’s historical positions. It would make conforming amendments across dozens of federal statutes and program provisions so every legal reference to the school lunch law uses the Jean E. Fairfax title.
