Blocks 340B savings for gender-affirming care

This bill would stop 340B clinics and hospitals from using their drug discount savings to pay for some transgender care. They would be barred from using those savings for sex reassignment surgeries and for hormone treatments when used for gender transition. The limit would apply only to money from the gap between the 340B ceiling price and what the provider paid for outpatient drugs. If enacted, this could raise costs or reduce access for transgender patients who rely on 340B providers. It would take effect upon enactment.
