SEC Act of 2025
Sponsored By: Representative Bice, Stephanie I. [R-OK-5]
Introduced
Summary
Prohibits non-material climate-related disclosures. The Stop Environmental Calculations Act of 2025 would bar the Securities and Exchange Commission from requiring companies to report climate information unless it is material to investors. It would add that limitation to the Securities Exchange Act.

Limits on SEC climate risk disclosures
