In Committee
Summary
Allows caregivers with TSA PreCheck to receive up to two gate passes so they can accompany minors and passengers who need assistance. The bill would require the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration to build a system to expedite gate passes and show PreCheck status on tickets.

Faster gate passes for parents and caregivers
If enacted, FAA and TSA would have 180 days to set up a faster gate-pass system. Caregivers, parents, and guardians who already qualify for TSA PreCheck would be able to get up to two gate passes to escort a minor or a passenger who needs help to the flight. The passes would show TSA PreCheck status the same way it appears on a ticket. This would improve gate access but would not create new cash payments.
